A concert venue with a club atmosphere
Newcastle's home of contemporary jazz, Dungeon Jazz was created in 1997 and became a member's club in 2012. Dungeon Jazz provides musicians a dedicated performing venue with a club / concert atmosphere focussing on engagement, enjoyment and just jazz.
2013 changes
This year will be a departure from monthly gigs into more spectacular concerts each featuring two or more artists. We will continue to offer the same variety of music as well as our infamous array of refreshments for you in the interval. Our last gig featuring Adrian Cunningham and his quartet was enjoyed by all. Adrian had literally flown in that morning but showed no sign of jetlag. The music was varied - and contained some new original works by Adrian. A special highlight was .... read on.
